She is most well-known for portraying the role of Special Agent Emily Prentiss (CBS crime drama Criminal Minds) In a June 2010 report, her role in Criminal Minds will be diminished during the 6th season. Brewster was removed from the show on March 11, 2011 and she is expected to be back on the show at a later date.
