Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling before she made her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained confidence after her win, and she won three fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell during the first round. Then she returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian before going on to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen as she beat her by unanimous vote. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Combat Championships 16, She won her next bout with Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO. The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Her UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. Her dominance grew and she got a bigger win during her next fight against Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the opening round. The winner also got the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks for her first significant fight. The two fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter received an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. The third time she fought on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a last-minute replacement for her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously against her.
